Unless otherwise specified, your use of the course materials on this website is subject to our Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. You may share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform and build upon the material) for any purpose, including commercially, as long as:
you attribute the reuse: you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate whether changes were made. Please credit our material as the “risk-engineering.org course materials”.
you share alike: if you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
The Creative Commons licence does not apply to the Risk Engineering logo. It does not apply to third-party content that we have reused (mostly pictures and figures); third-party content is attributed explicitly and its licence specified.
We respect your privacy. We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you, unless you send it voluntarily, such as by sending an email to our contact points.
The Google Analytics web analytics tool, which collects aggregated, anonymous information on visitors including web pages visited, the web browser used and originating country. We use this information to help convince ourselves that all the late-evening work on the site is worthwhile. Google Analytics is configured not to collect any personally-identifiable information on our visitors.
The Twitter news feed included as a sidebar on most pages of the site uses tracking cookies which are not under our control.
You can disable these two services by setting your web browser to block cookies, by using a privacy-enhancing browser extension such as Privacy Badger or by enabling the “do not track” setting in your web browser. All our web site content will still be available without any inconvenience. Both these services comply with the European General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
